Our veggie garden.  The lettuces are thriving, but they had a headstart!  The others were planted from seeds.  We'll be sure to post an updated photo as things grow.

Other edibles - cherry tomatos and strawberries in the hanging baskets, blueberry bush, peppers and herbs in the pots and planter box.

Our trip to Mexico

The three of us have just returned home from a wonderful week of sunshine, sand and swimming in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  Matthew had a great time on the airplane, playing on the beach and in the pool, feeding the fish and watching the iguanas at the resort, meeting new people and practising his Spanish.  Here are a few photos and videos of our adventures:

Our dear friend and neighbour Marta accompanied us to the park one Saturday morning in early December to take some photographs of the three of us. We loved them and several ended up on our Christmas card.  Enjoy!

We shared our Thanksgiving turkey with some of our wonderful neighbours and friends.  The photo says it all - even the kids are happy!  Plenty of delicious food and excellent company (including Erin who is behind the camera)!
